I asked if they had a beer menu, she just simply said no and turned to the other customer who entered after I did. She served the customer all the way and even chit chat a little then finally came to me again. I asked again for the beer menu 'cause I wasn't sure if I heard her right first time. I had to ask her again what beer can I have, she just pointed drafts and refrigerator and said those are their beers. I don't know if she was upset because I literally entered at the opening time but it was so bad so I just left.

RHP Jonathan Cannon was added to Charlotte’s active roster today (he was optioned to Charlotte on April 28). He went 0-1 with a 7.24 ERA in three starts with the White Sox this season (13.2 IP). With the Knights, Cannon is 0-0 with 2.79 ERA in two starts this season over 9.2 innings pitched. He has compiled 11 strikeouts over that span with Charlotte. Cannon entered the season ranked as the number nine prospect in Chicago’s system by Baseball America.

INF Wilmer Difo was placed on Charlotte’s Development List today. He was signed by the Chicago White Sox organization and assigned to Charlotte on April 13. This season with the Knights, Difo is hitting .211 (4-for-19) with one run scored and one RBI. Difo, 32, has appeared in parts of eight seasons in the majors with Washington ( ), Pittsburgh (2021) and Arizona (2022). Difo spent the 2023 season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (New York Yankees organization).

Greystone Ameri-Grk Pub has been a part of the landscape in Charlotte since Tom Kanos opened it as a classic corner pub in 1947. These days its the third generation Kanos family who carries on the corner bar, "CHEERS" atmosphere only with a whole lot more. Found this little neighborhood sweet spot just in time to watch some very important college games. They even turn the music off so you can actually hear the game!
